Vitamin E Oil

Hello lovelies😍,

How are you all doing?

Well, who would not like to look beautiful, flawless, young with a radiant, plumpy and clear skin? Vitamin E oil does the job for you. Heads up, this is going to be a long post😄. Before I ramble about my absolute favourite vit E oil, let’s see the benefits of it.Brace yourself, here goes the list:

Anti-Aging:

Vitamin E oil has an amazing anti-aging effect on skin. Lack of proper skin care regime, and habits like excessive intake of alchohol and smoking often trigger the onset of signs of premature aging. Topical application of e oil promotes production of two important protein components collagen and elastin, which improve skin elasticity. This reduces the appearences of visible age spots, fine lines, wrinkles and gives you a younger looking skin. Its antioxidant properties further fight off damaging effects of free radicals, and minimizes the chances of appearances of new wrinkles. For this reason, Vitamin E is used as a key ingredient in several anti-aging creams and lotions that are available in the market.

Dryness:

Vitamin E is an excellent moisturizer. It prevents water loss from the skin and helps to retain its natural moisture. It helps to regulate functioning of oil secreting glands in the skin which release sebum(body’s natural oil) which is a perfect skin moisturizer.

Scars:

Vitamin e has been noted by many people to fasten the recovery of injured skin tissue. Apply vitamin E oil on any kind of scar, like pigmentation scars, scars by cuts, scrapes, wounds and acne scars etc. It speeds up the process of regeneration of skin cells and the dead, damaged skin cells are replaced with new ones. This way, it helps to get rid of the scar tissue. However, it may not be that effective on surgical scars.

Stretch Marks:

Apply this oil to get rid of ugly stretch marks as it increases the growth of new skin cells in the area, and also helps to restore the natural elastic properties of the skin.

Sunburns:

It can be used to treat minor sunburns. It is absorbed by the epidermis layer of the skin and it heals the damages caused by UV radiation. So, it is added to sunscreen lotions of various brands to improve its sun protection factor.

Other Skin Issues:

Vitamin E oil is used to treat many other skin related issues such as psoriasis, eczema, extreme dryness and itchiness.

Smooth, Tangle-free hair:

Adding few drops of E oil to regular shampoo turns into a more powerful de-tangle solution. This is also experimented by many shampoo manufacturers. It also provides vitamin E to scalp which keeps scalp healthy and well moisturized. It can also prevent dandruff.

Nail/cuticle Problems:

Vitamin e oil is known to maintain the health of nails. A few drops of the oil can help reduce breakage of the nails, and poorly kept nails can be brought back to health, if it is used regularly.

Lip care:

Just like how it repairs the skin, helps restoring the moisture of lips, hence keeping them healthy plumpy and also helps in reducing the pigmentation of lips.

Makeup remover:

Yes, it is serves as a good makeup remover when few drops are used with a cotton ball. It is a much healthier alternative to chemicals filled makeup removers.

MY FAVOURITE VITAMIN E OIL:

Brand: Holland & Barrett

Price: £11.99 for 75ml

Packaging: Comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a twist screw cap. The hole dispenser does not let it spill and has good control in dispensing only tiny amount of oil.

Consistency:

It is slightly on the thicker side compared to other oils. Even though its viscous in nature, it’s not very greasy. This is how it looks on my hand

My Experience with the product:

Well, i tried using this oil on my skin, hair and lips. For me, this is liquid gold.

It is the only one that penetrates my skin and hair to deeply nourish. It is fading my acne scars like no other. I gently press and massage this thick oil in at night and wake up to clear, plump and radiant skin. So far, it did not clog my pores and caused any breakouts. As i got combination skin, i take care while applying it onto my T-zone so it does’nt make the area over oily. Overall, it made my skin clear, plumpy, radiant and more even.

I’ve also been using it on my dry lips with great results.

I also use this on mine and my daughter’s hair mixed with almond oil and i love how smooth and shiny our hair turns after regular shampooing. I’m not sure if it’s actually repairing my breakage or just smoothing it, so it’s less apparent, but my hair looks and feels so much healthier.

** I have been using this since 4 months.**

The ‘Good’ about this product:

  • Reduces acne marks and blemishes
  • Brings down pigmentation on lips and skin
  • Makes hair smoother and shinier
  • Good packaging.
  • Little product is required
  • Handy
  • Not greasy and sticky
  • Sinks into the skin pretty well
  • No fragrance / perfume added
  • Organic

The ‘Not so good’ about it:

  • Pricey (But this goes a long way as very little product is required and much cheaper than some high-end beauty creams)

Rating: 4.5/5

Where and how do i buy?

Any Holland & Barrett stores/ Online.

Foe people in India:

I had used Evion-400 capsules when i was in India. They worked well too. But, the are a lot viscous and sticky so i only used to apply it on problematic areas and not the whole face. You can get them in any medical stores. Puncture a hole on the capsule and apply the oil on blemishes/ scars.

You might find some good organic E oil online. Why don’t you Check for some and post it as a comment below.? May help others who are looking for it. 😊

Hit like if  you found the post useful.😊 Stay tuned for more.!!!😄

Hi ashu, thank you 😊Oily skin needs hydration too. So try cleansing your face with a oil free gel cleanser/ face wash and apply the oil on your problemmatic areas. Minimize/avoid applying it onto your T-zone ie; your nose and forehead or the area you feel more oily. Hope this works 😊
